Our mission is to provide quality STEM education experiences for all students, especially young women, students of color, and those historically excluded from STEM fields. We seek to inspire students to see themselves as engineers and scientists.

Meet Our Leadership
Jonathan Lazatin
Executive Director
Jonathan is an aerospace engineer and educator currently working in electric aircraft design and testing. He has spent 3 years in the classroom teaching high school science and engineering to students in Chicago and Oakland. He enjoys mentoring students in robotics, listening to NPR’s “The Puzzle”, and rock climbing. Jonathan currently serves as Executive Director with Engineering Equity.
Brittany Sicat
Treasurer & Board Member
Brittany is an architectural designer currently located in the bay area in California. The firm she works for specializes in educational work. She has nearly 7 years of experience working directly with school sites, and aiding in the design and construction of k-12 classroom buildings. She enjoys traveling, testing new recipes, and watching her garden grow. Brittany currently serves as Treasurer with Engineering Equity.
